Edwin A. Locke began to examine goal setting in the mid-1960s and derived the idea for goal-setting from Aristotle’s form of final causality. Aristotle speculated that purpose can cause action; thus, Locke began researching the impact goals have on individual activity of its time performance. Visualize Your Dreams
A really nice Dream Board by Coach Jennifer M. Fitness. Check out her site if you wish by clicking on the board.
You have big dreams. Maybe you want fame; you want wealth; or you want to be healthy. Or maybe you just want a job, a better job, a much needed vacation; a day off even.
Whatever your dreams, passions or desires, as long as they are realistic they can be achieved if you are willing to work at achieving that dream.
Making a dream board is easy as acquiring a few tools from the local Dollar Store or Crafts Store. |

Self-Awareness If you want to change your life in any way, you need to know yourself before you can act. You need to know what you need to do to head in the right direction and you can't do that until you know yourself. Get a mirror and become self aware through self reflection Ask yourself - What are your fears? What's holding you back? Then write them down in your journal as a first step. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. |

Defining Your Authentic Self Are you living a life that is more in tune with your "authentic" self (who you were created to be) or your "fictional" self (who the world has told you to be)? You probably weren't even aware that these versions of your "self" existed!
Dr. Phil explains the difference between the authentic and fictional self: Fictional Self
As Dr. Phil states - When you're not living faithfully to your authentic self, you find yourself feeling incomplete, as if there is a hole in your soul.
